An Aberdeen nurse who acted aggressively towards a colleague at work has been put under strict supervision for 18 months.
Runju Mathew faced a string of charges relating to incidents which occurred between October 2014 and June 2015 when she was employed as a staff nurse at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
She was found guilty of acting aggressively towards a colleague by stepping forward and standing very close to her, and of saying the colleague was “out to cause trouble” and trying to create problems”.
Ms Mathew, who is no longer employed by NHS Grampian, was also found guilty of failing to provide a proper hand-over for a patient.
She also admitted discharging a patient with another’s medicine and twice drawing drugs double the prescribed level for patients.
A Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) disciplinary hearing in Edinburgh imposed an interim conditions of practice order on her registration for 18 months.
