The incident happened between the two entrances to Stonehaven heading south. One of the vehicles had pulled after experiencing engine trouble and was then struck on the side by another. Police received the call at 7.57am and officers are at the scene. A spokesman for the force said: “One vehicle had broken down and the other struck it. “A roads policing unit is at the scene. It’s on the south-bound lane so it’s a wee bit quieter. “We haven’t had reports of road traffic issues.” The spokesman confirmed no one had been injured but was unable to provide further details on the number of people involved.
