An Aberdeen man has been charged following house break-ins in the north-east that saw thousands of pounds reported missing.
The 20-year-old was arrested by police following the spate of alleged thefts in the Udny area of Aberdeenshire on November 18.
He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Officers continue to appeal to the public to make their home security a priority at all times following a spate of acquisitive crime in the North East in recent months.
“Please ensure all doors and windows of your homes, outbuildings and vehicles are locked and secure, and use additional security measures wherever possible.
“Anyone with information about acquisitive crime, or anyone with concerns, should contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.”
