Police were called to the accident on the A944 road east of Alford at around 7.30am. The vehicles involved and a significant amount of debris is understood to still be on the road. A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed officers are on their way to the scene but was unable to give further details until they arrive. No serious injuries have been reported.
