Two dolls, money and jewellery have been stolen from a Fraserburgh property.
The items, including the three-figure sum of money, were taken from the property in Hanover Street shortly before 7pm yesterday.
Detective Inspector Norman Stevenson said: “This was an upsetting incident for the homeowner and we are appealing to the public to help us with any information.
“If anyone saw anything unusual or suspicious in the area around the time stated we would ask that they get in touch.
The dolls that were taken are described as extremely life like and one is a Paris Sculpt model.
“It is a fairly unusual item to have and we would ask that if anyone is offered these for sale to please get in touch with us.
“Anyone with information can contact police on 101.”
