North-east community left without running water

A north-east community has been left without water this morning.

Scottish Water are investigating the fault in the AB12 area of Portlethen after homes across the area were left without access to running water.

An update given by the organisation said: “We have had reports of loss of water supply, low pressure and discoloured water from the area.

“This is currently under investigation and we hope to have supplies restored as quickly as possible.”
