A 91-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a north-east crash.
The incident occurred on an unclassified road between Findon and Cove at 12.10pm and involved a white Vauxhall Vivaro van and an elderly male pedestrian.
He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. The 37-year-old van driver was uninjured.
Police are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw the pedestrian or white Vauxhall Vivaro van on this road at about 12.10pm to contact them on 101.
The road remains closed.
