Emergency services were called to Hazlehead earlier this evening after a car burst into flames.
The call was made at around 7.30pm after an abandoned vehicle was spotted on fire near Hazlehead Academy.
The fire service sent one appliance to the scene from North Anderson Drive and four firefighters used a hose reel jet and breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze.
The stop message came back at 7.44pm and emergency services left the scene shortly after.
A police spokesman said: “There were no injuries as a result.
“We are carrying out inquiries into this incident.”
