Ten firefighters were called out to a house in Ellon yesterday morning.
The crews were called out to a property in Cullen Way at 9.20am following reports of “smouldering” behind a boiler in the garage.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman said it had not been a serious incident.
She added: “We did have a report of a fire in a dwelling, it was timber framing smouldering behind a boiler in the garage. A woman just smelled burning and went out to it.
“It was all finished at approximately 10am.”
