Leuser allegedly persuaded Ms Birley to hand over £120,000 in four separate payments of £30,000.

Leuser, of Topping Gardens, Fraserburgh, was due to appear at City of London Magistrates’ Court yesterday to face charges of fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud.
But defence solicitor Kerry Spence said she was too ill to travel to London from Scotland.
The court was told earlier Leuser had two infections in her hand and leg.
The bench agreed to adjourn the case until January 5 at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
Leuser is charged with one count of fraud by false representation one count of conspiring to commit fraud by false representation.
