It is understood a vehicle failed to stop when being directed to by officers on the A90 near Balmedie, Aberdeenshire. Four people have been taken into custody by police. At least one police vehicle was damaged in the incident, which finished at Blackdog pub. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We can confirm four people are in custody following an incident on the A90 this morning.” She added: “No-one has been injured and inquiries are ongoing.”
