Four teenagers have been charged in connection with a high speed north-east police chase that left eight vehicles damaged.
A red Mercedes A180 was later recovered in the Blackdog area which had been reported missing earlier from the Union Grove area of Aberdeen.
No injuries were sustained during the incident on the A90 Peterhead to Aberdeen route, however three Police Scotland vehicles were damaged as were five other vehicles.
Police Scotland confirmed that three males aged 15, 16 and 17 and a 16-year-old female are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
Last night, Detective Inspector Stuart McAdam said: “Pursuits will only be conducted when safe to do so.
“The safety of the public throughout remains at the forefront of our priorities and I would like to thank motorists for their co-operation while this incident was dealt with.”
