A 34-year-old man has been charged after a car was allegedly set on fire deliberately in Aberdeen.
The man, a resident of the city, is expected to appear in Aberdeen Sheriff Court today after the incident in the Powis Crescent area..
Crews spent 40 minutes putting out the fire after flames tore through the vehicle in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman confirmed that crews left the scene at around 2.54am.
Sergeant Lynne Kortland, of the Kittybrewster community policing team, said: “I would like to thank the members of the public who provided information in connection with this investigation.”
