A motorcyclist has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after coming off his bike on a city road.
The incident involving a Triumph Thunderbird happened at around 11pm on Countesswells Road.
The male motorcyclist was said to have been concussed following the incident, and to have suffered from shoulder injuries.
A police spokeswoman said: “We had a motorcyclist come off his bike at Countesswells, he’s away to hospital, walking wounded. It came to us at 11.10pm.
“The motorbike has been recovered, there were no closures and no issues on the road. There was no requirements for any road closures.”
An ambulance spokesman said: “We were called at 11.15pm. We have took him to ARI.
“All we’ve got on it is that he suffered from a concussion. I don’t know how serious it was.”
