Two men are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today after class A drugs were recovered from a vehicle travelling along the A90.
The cocaine and diamorphine, with a street value of £9,000, was found after a vehicle was stopped near Portlethen on Tuesday as part of an intelligence-led operation.
A 31-year-old man from the Manchester area and a 19-year-old man from the Oldham area have been charged and will appear at court today.
A police spokeswoman said: “Targeting serious organised crime involving drugs is a priority for North East Division under Operation Aspen to ensure the area remains one of the safest places to live and work.
