A 15-year-old male has been charged in relation to a fire at a north-east hotel.
The alarm was raised at around 9pm on October 24 of a well-established fire at the Old Station Hotel on Seaforth Street, Fraserburgh.
Police cordoned off the road and the building was evacuated.
The old hotel is now used as flats and it is understood there was extensive damage caused to the interior of the building.
Police confirmed today the teenager had been charged and a report will be submitted to the Youth Justice Management Unit in due course.
