The Volkswagon car crashed into the building at around 3am near the Iceland store on Holburn Road. The police started chasing the car from the Crown Street area of Aberdeen. A Police Scotland spokeswoman, said: “One man is in custody and we are not looking for anyone else at this time. “We believe it’s a commercial premises that the vehicle has crashed into.” She added: “The incident started on Crown Street and finished on Holburn Road. “There was a pursuit for a very short while.”
