Firefighters tackle house blaze in north-east village

Firefighters have tackled a house fire in a north-east village.
A blaze was reported at the property on Charles Street, in St Combs, at 11.30am.
The fire started in the kitchen of the home, with two crews from Fraserburgh sent to the scene.
They used hose reel jets and four breathing apparatus to bring the fire under control.
A fire and rescue spokesman said: “We have had a dwelling fire at St Combs, we used four breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet, the power and gas were isolated.
“It was a fire in the kitchen. There was no people involved in it. We got the call at 11.30am. The stop was message was at 12.06pm.
“We had two (Crews) from Fraserburgh and a request for a incident support vehicle.”
