Police are trying to trace a driver that failed to stop for them in the early hours of this morning.
Officers were “made aware” of concerns of a truck travelling in Aberdeen’s Crown Street area at around 3am.
The vehicle was followed for a short time and recovered in the Holburn Street area.
An investigation is ongoing to trace the driver and officers are following a positive line of inquiry.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
Inspector Megan Heathershaw said: “Thankfully, no one appears to have been injured during the incident, however some damage was caused to a building in the Holburn Street area.
“I would like to take this opportunity to stress that during incidents of this nature, vehicles will only be followed when safe to do so. The safety of the public throughout remains at the forefront of our priorities.
“Inquiries are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.”
