Police called to disturbance at Aberdeen tower block

Police were called to a disturbance at an Aberdeen tower block earlier tonight.

The incident was reported at Bayview Court in the Seaton area of the city shortly after 9pm.

A heavy police presence could be seen in the area shortly afterwards as there were a number of people inside the flat.

Meanwhile, an injured man had also alerted police to his condition close to the tower block not long after the disturbance was reported.

It was not known if the two incidents were connected or if anyone was taken into custody.
