Van blaze sparks emergency on A90

Emergency services have been called to a van blaze on the A90.

The tyre of the vehicle went up in flames just after 8.15am on the busy route heading northbound near Laurencekirk.

Two Scottish Fire and Rescue Service appliances from Stonehaven and Laurencekirk are in attendance.

A spokesman said: “It’s a three-tonne van and it’s well alight.”
