This is the moment an adorable fox carefully plucked a ‘bauble’ from an outdoor Christmas tree decorated by north-east schoolchildren.
Pupils from Craigievar Primary School, Alford, donned the outdoor tree with edible decorations as a gift to wildlife living in the woods by Craigievar Castle.
Craigievar Primary School have done it again! The children decorated a Christmas tree in the woods at Craigievar Castle to give something back to the wildlife in the forest before Christmas and it has been very popular! Well done to them
The children have a regular forest school in the grounds of the castle provided the National Trust for Scotland and assisted the North East Ranger Service.
Before Christmas each year, they decorate a tree in the grounds with treats for the wildlife and make woodland crafts.
This year’s display has proved a popular attraction for local animals and cameras caught one very inquisitive fox pulling a decoration from the tree.
In an accompanying post, the Service wrote: “Craigievar Primary School have done it again!
