Police are hunting thieves who made off with equipment from the multimillion-pound Aberdeen bypass project.
A red 25-kVA generator worth more than £10,000 was stolen from a trailer on Bothiebrigs Drive in Marywell between 6pm on Tuesday night and 9am the following morning.
The equipment had a “Speedy” logo in silver and blue on the side.
Investigating officer PC Marc Camus urged anyone with information to get in touch.
He said: “Inquiries are ongoing into this incident however I would encourage anyone who either saw any suspicious behaviour near to Bothiebrigs Drive, Marywell or who has any information about this incident to call Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
