A CCTV image has been released as police try to trace a man in connection with an Aberdeen assault.
A man was assaulted on Union Street at around 12.45am on November 24.
Officers are trying to find a man who may be able to assist with their inquiry.
The man is described as being mid 20’s, approximately 5 feet 9 in tall, slim build with medium scruffy dark hair.
He is described as wearing a grey jacket, dark top, dark trousers, dark shoes, and was carrying a green rucksack and a pair of white roller skates or ice skates over his shoulder.
Investigating Officer Constable Thomas Spencer said: “This was an unprovoked attack resulting in a male sustaining a serious injury to his head. Assaults of this nature have a significant impact on the life of the victim. I would appeal to anyone who recognises the male pictured or has any knowledge of this incident to come forward and contact the police.”
