The incident happened just after 11.30pm yesterday at the city’s Gairn Court. Crews spent more than 20 minutes bringing the scene under control. Five Scottish Fire and Rescue Service appliances were called, made up of around 20 firefighters. A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said no one had been injured in the blaze. She said: “The call said there was a fire in the kitchen but it was extinguished when we got there. “Nobody was injured. “The property was within a multi-storey. “We left at 11.57pm.”
