A 40-year-old man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today in connection with 12 separate thefts and break-ins from vehicles.
Incidents were reported in numerous areas of the city including Kincorth, Ferryhill, Bridge of Don and Torry, with cash and property totalling a low four figure sum allegedly taken as well as damage also totalling a low four figure sum. The incident occurred between October last year and January.
Detective Inspector Stuart McAdam said: “Tackling acquisitive crime is a priority for North East Division under Operation Magpie. I would urge the public to assist us from the outset by always ensuring your homes, sheds, garages and vehicles are locked and secure at all times.
