Police are re-appealing for information to help trace James Stewart who has been reported missing from his home in Aberdeen.
The 43-year-old was last seen in the Hayton Road area of the city at around 10.55am yesterday and officers are growing increasingly concerned for his safety and well-being.
He is described as being around 6ft, of a slim build and is understood to be wearing a black Adidas hat, a black knee length jacket, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Local Inspector Mark Stephen said: “It has been more than 24 hours since James was last seen and we urgently want to trace him.
“I would appeal to James directly to let us know his whereabouts. Likewise I would appeal to anyone who knows where he might be, or anyone who has seen a man matching his description, to let us know as soon as possible.
“Officers are carrying out extensive enquiries in the city centre, George Street and the beach area, where James may have sought shelter overnight.
“Anyone with information should contact Police on 101.”
