A man has been charged following suspicious incidents in Aberdeen city centre in which a number of women were followed.
The 21-year-old has now been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in relation to threatening behaviour between January 24 and today.
Officers have appealed appealing for witnesses to come forward and would like to speak to a woman who may have information that could assist their inquiries.
Police confirmed that a woman seen walking on Union Street has come forward following an earlier appeal.
Inspector David Howieson said: “We are continuing with our enquiries and are looking to speak to a woman who was walking on George Street to Berry Street at around 9:15pm on Tuesday 24th January. She was wearing a dark long sleeved top, dark brown skirt, was carrying a dark bag and was seen talking on a mobile phone.
“I can also confirm that another woman who was walking on Union Street has come forward following an earlier appeal.”
The man is expected to appear in Aberdeen Sheriff Court later today.
