Shoppers at a major shopping centre in Aberdeen have raised £26,000 for CLAN Cancer support.
During the festive period, more than 2000 boys and girls met Santa by visiting his Winter Wonderland in both Bon Accord and St Nicholas centres.
This allowed youngsters the opportunity to express their Christmas wishes in the run up to December 25.
Craig Stevenson, centre manager, said: “We would like to say a big thank you to our shoppers for their generosity over the festive period.
“We hope all the boys and girls and their families and friends enjoyed visiting Father Christmas and well done to all for raising a fantastic amount for CLAN.”
The charity offers a range of services for anyone affected by cancer.
Dr Colette Backwell, the organisation’s chief executive, said: “CLAN has a strong relationship with Bon Accord and St Nicholas.
“We would like to thank everyone involved for their continued support, particularly during the festive period.”
She added: “It was lovely to see so many families enjoying Santa’s Winter Wonderland and we’re absolutely delighted to have raised £26,000, which will make such a difference.
“Support, such as this from the Bon Accord team and customers, is essential to CLAN and allows us to continue our work in the heart of communities across the north-east of Scotland, Moray, Orkney and Shetland.”
