Emergency services have been called to an ongoing incident in Aberdeen.
Police and fire are both attending in the Froghall area of Aberdeen but no further information is yet available on the nature of the emergency.
A number of streets have been closed off in the area.
A police spokeswoman said: “Officers are currently assisting the Scottish Fire & Rescue service with an incident in the Froghall Gardens area of Aberdeen. A call was received at around 10.25am.
“A police cordon is in place at Froghall Gardens at the junctions with Elmbank Terrace, the Spital and Jute Street.
“Members of the public are thanked for their patience while the incident is dealt with.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “At 10.26am on Friday, 3 February we were alerted to reports of a fire within a property at Froghall Gardens in Aberdeen.
“Six appliances attended and five firefighters dressed in protective breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a high-power hose.
“Nearby properties were evacuated as a precaution and one individual was safely removed from the affected property via a ladder with assistance from firefighters.
“The casualty did not require medical treatment and crews ensured the area was made safe before leaving the scene.”
