Man charged after alleged £10,000 raid at Aberdeen bus station

A man has been charged after an alleged raid of more than £10,000 at an Aberdeen bus depot.

The five-figure sum was reportedly taken from the Stagecoach North Scotland premises following a break-in on Monday, December 19.

The depot acts as the operator’s main hub in Aberdeen for transport around the region and nationwide.

A 37-year-old man, from the Glasgow area, has been charged in connection with the incident and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

The man is expected to appear in court at a later date.
