The flames broke out just after 4.45am at the Dyce Tandoori on Stoneywood Road. The fire, which was caused by a fryer in the premises, is not being treated by suspicious. A total of four appliances were called involving 19 firefighters. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We have appliances from North Anderson Drive, Altens, Central and a height vehicle in use.” A Police Scotland spokeswoman added: “By 5.45am, the fire was under control and was contained.” Stoneywood Road remained closed to traffic for some time but has now reopened.
