North-east road closed after car and cyclist collision

A cyclist has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after a crash with a car on a North-east road.

The collision took place just around midday today on an unclassified road just north of Bridge of Don near the B999.

It is not known at this time the extent of the man’s injuries.

A spokesman for the police said: “We were called to a road traffic collision involving one male cyclist and a car shortly after noon.

“The male has been taken to ARI and the road is closed and officers are carrying out an investigation.”
