Police are hunting a bike-riding bag-snatcher who robbed an 83-year-old woman in Aberdeen.
The incident, described by officers as a “cowardly attack on a vulnerable woman” happened on the city’s Beach Boulevard, near the Brunswick store, at 6.30pm on Friday evening.
The thief, who was riding a bicycle, grabbed the pensioner’s handbag, and made off in the direction of Links Road.
The suspect was of average build and was wearing dark clothing.
Detective Constable Edward Allan, said: “This was a cowardly attack on a vulnerable woman and thankfully she was uninjured
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed or has information in relation to this incident to contact us as soon as possible.’
