The emergency services were called to Oldcroft Place at around 4.10pm after a six year old was involved in a collision with a grey Vauxhall Corsa. A police spokeswoman said the child was not injured in the incident, and that they had been “clipped” by the vehicle. The road was not closed, but the incident resulted in minor traffic congestion in the area. The scene is now clear.
