Aberdeen is the least active area in Scotland, according to a new Holyrood report.
The survey, of more than 3,000 people, measured the percentage of individuals who did not participate in sport or other forms of exercise by postcode area.
Aberdeen proved the least active area in Scotland with statistics revealing that 35% of survey participants from the Granite City do not participate in any regular activity.
The survey also revealed a significant disparity when it comes to postcodes and exercise participation, with Aberdeen lagging almost 25% behind the most active area, Falkirk.
The report will be discussed by the Scottish Parliament’s health committee today.
