Community groups across Scotland are to receive a share of more than £750,000 worth of National Lottery funding.
The Awards for All grants have been awarded to 103 community, arts and sports groups across the country.
In Aberdeen, two city secondary schools will benefit from the funding.
Dyce Academy has been awarded £2,500 to increase participation in the Duke of Edinburgh programme through mountain leader training and purchasing equipment and Northfield Academy will receive £9,997 to expand their parkour and free running classes, a sport that includes running, jumping and leaping.
In Aberdeenshire, residents in Tornaveen, near Lumphanan, will benefit from £10,000 which will help pay for an extension to the community centre.
Moray Waste Busters, an organisation which works with the community to divert waste from landfill to reuse, has been awarded £9,800 to fund a feasibility study and business development activities which will enable the group to expand and improve its future services.
Four Highland projects also received a share of the pot.
Glendale Community Hall Association received £9,028 to carry out improvements to its community facilities on the Isle of Skye.
Highland Multicultural Friends will use its £7,860 to hire a part-time coordinator to improve services, to run a multicultural kids club and to improve the group’s online presence.
Inshes Community Association will use its £10,000 to carry out a feasibility study into improving a local park and Mallaig and District Swimming Pool also received £10,000 to refurbish its gym.
