Car goes up in flames on Aberdeen road

Firefighters have tackled a car blaze in Aberdeen.

The vehicle went on fire in the Woodside area of Great Northern Road at about 9.20pm.

Police and the fire and rescue service were sent to the scene.

One crew from North Anderson Drive was called to deal with the incident.

A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “It was one car on fire at the rear of Great Northern Road, we used one hose reel jet to bring it under control.”
