A teenage north-east snowboarding star is in contention to win a global competition.
Fin Bremner, 17, from Milltimber in Aberdeen, is one of ten youngsters competing in a public vote after impressing worldwide audiences with his skills.
The youngster, who has ambitions to participate in the Winter Olympics in the future, is currently in Switzerland, developing and refining his intricate routines.
But he is among the nominees in the Quicksilver Young Guns event – for which there were thousands of video entries worldwide – and was selected to create a short film.
This has now been put to a public vote and the winner gets to spend a week riding in America with Travis Rice, one of the biggest stars in the snowboarding realm.
Fin told The Press and Journal: “He’s the Ronaldo of snowboarding, so this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
“I’m the only rider from Scotland, in fact the only rider from the whole of Europe, and I know that puts me at a huge disadvantage, because the other guys are all from Japan, America and Canada.
“But I’ve been given a lot of support from fans across Britain and it would be terrific if people came out and showed their support.”
The voting ends tonight – on March 7.
