The fire took hold in a property on the city’s Craigie Street at about 11.15pm. Two appliances, with 10 firefighters on board, were called to the scene. Firefighters assisted a man from the flat and managed to put out the blaze just before 11.30pm. The extent of the man’s injuries are not yet known.
