Pic by Kenny Elrick Councillors have approved plans to move Aberdeen’s popular Christmas village event to a new location. Starting this year, the event will move from Union Terrace to the City’s Broad Street and Castlegate. The area will be partly pedestrianised to ensure public safety. The popular attraction, which includes food stalls and live entertainment, has attracted tens of thousands of visitors since it opened in 2015.
