Improvement works will be carried out on one of the north-east’s major roads next week.
The Bear Scotland works, which will cost £102,000, will be focused on a section of the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road, just north of Stonehaven.
This part of the road is used by about 15,000 vehicles each day which has resulted in the need for resurfacing.
The maintenance works will begin on Monday at 7.30pm and will last three nights, finishing at 6.30am on Thursday.
While work is being carried out there will be a convoy system in place overnight, which will be removed in the morning.
