Police were last night appealing for information after a trailer was stolen from Fraserburgh.
The Ifor Williams vehicle, valued at about £1,000, was taken from the West Road area of the town on Wednesday, March 8, at about 7.30pm.
Police are now asking members of the public to report any sightings of the trailer – bearing registration number N88 NTH – which has two Saltire stickers on its rear.
It was last seen being driven away by a white van.
PC Neale Gawthorpe is leading the investigation into its theft.
Last night, he said: “The trailer was seen being driven away by a vehicle similar to a white Ford transit van.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time in question and has information which could help to please get in touch.
“Likewise, anyone who recognises the descriptions of the vehicles in question should also let us know.”
Sightings should be reported to police on 101 or to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you wish to remain anonymous.
