Three people have been rescued from the sea after emergency teams were called to an incident at Aberdeen beach.
The group, thought to be surfers or paddleboarders, were seen struggling to make it back to shore amid strong windy conditions.
Several people are understood to have called 999, with the coastguard and RNLI lifeboat called out at around 2:30pm.
A spokeswoman for the coastguard said: “They were on a personal watercraft.
“They were rescued from the water.”
The spokeswoman confirmed there are “no serious concerns” for those involved.
