An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an alleged assault at school football pitches in Aberdeen.
The incident occurred at the Northfield Academy football pitches on March 3.
He was anticipated to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.Two 15-year-old boys have also been reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit in relation to the incident.
Constable Matt McCall, investigating officer, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those in the local community who contacted police with information.
“Our inquiries continue in relation to this incident and we continue to work closely with the co-ordinator and coaches who were supporting the event. Anyone with information should contact Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 if you would prefer to remain anonymous.”
