A teenager has appeared in court in connection with an assault at an Aberdeen secondary school.
Steven Dunlop faced a string of charges when he appeared in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday.
The 18-year-old, of Aberdeen, is accused of assault to injury and permanent disfigurement, assault, assault to injury and breaching his bail conditions.
He made no plea or declaration, and was remanded in custody. The case was continued for further examination.
His appearance comes after an alleged incident at Northfield Academy football pitches on March 3.
Two 15-year-old boys have also been reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit.
Constable Matt McCall said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those in the local community who contacted police with information.
“Our inquiries continue in relation to this incident and we continue to work closely with the co-ordinator and coaches who were supporting the event.
