Emergency services were called to the A947 Aberdeen to Banff Road between Fyvie and Turiff at 5.45pm following reports of a collision. The road has now been closed in both directions and the diversion is running between Oldmeldrum and New Deer. A police spokesman said: “There are only minor injuries but the two lane road has been closed in both directions. “There are likely to be lengthy delays due to the diversion.” More to follow.
