A serial flasher has admitted exposing himself to two teens at a city park.
Brian Dawson, 65, appeared from custody at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and admitted intentionally engaging in a sexual activity in the presence of the females by exposing and touching himself.
The offence happened at Duthie Park on March 14.
The court heard that Dawson has previous convictions for similar offences, and was handed a community payback order in December after admitting exposing himself to three girls.
His latest offence happened just before 9.30pm, as Dawson walked behind the two girls.
Fiscal depute Katie Begg said: “They made a check as to what the accused was doing, they were scared they were being followed by him.”
The pair noticed that Dawson, of Ash-hill Way, Aberdeen, had his hand down his trousers.
Dawson continued to follow the pair while touching himself.
Miss Begg said: “They were extremely shocked.”
They returned home and contacted police.
When Dawson was later cautioned and arrested his reply was “innocent”, he later responded after being charged: “It’s nae true”.
Defence agent Keidra Morrison said her client had been complying with the programme he’d been required to attend as part on the community order.
She added that Dawson “accepted responsibility” for what he had done.
Sheriff Christine McCrossan deferred sentence on Dawson until next month, but remanded him in custody.
