A north-east woman reported missing earlier this week has been traced.
Police issued an appeal for help in finding Stephanie Gallant after she was reported missing from Peterhead and last seen in the Duncan Crescent area of the town on Wednesday at around 6pm.
Police confirmed today that the 33-year-old has been traced safe and well.
Chief Inspector Murray Main said: “I would like to thank the many members of the public who assisted us and provided vital information which has helped trace Stephanie.
“I would like to also thank the local community for their patience and understanding and those who shared our appeal for help – your support has been much appreciated.”
