A road in Aberdeen was closed yesterday as firefighters battled a fire in a shoe repair shop in Aberdeen.
Nine appliances from Altens, Dyce, Banchory, Stonehaven, two Central Station as well as a height vehicle were sent out to the Rose Street Shoe Repair building in the city’s Rose Street at 4.13pm.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used jets to bring the fire under control. A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said there are no casualties.
Police closed the road while the emergency services dealt with the incident and diversions were put in place. An investigation was carried out last night.
